You are not a good candidate if you have electronic implants, have an active skin infection, or are pregnant/breastfeeding. How Emface Works
Emface uses a combination of synchronized radiofrequency (RF) and High-Intensity Facial Electromagnetic Stimulation (HIFES™). This helps address different skin conditions and treats the underlying facial muscles.
The synchronized RF gently heats the dermis and triggers the body’s healing response. This stimulates a new production of collagen and elastin, which promotes skin tightening. Thanks to this technology, facial sagging and wrinkles are reduced while subtly restoring volume and contour.
On the other hand, HIFES™ technology uses electromagnetic stimulation to trigger contraction in the muscles. The effect is similar to a round of exercise, only you don’t have to move the muscles yourself. The device does it for you.
Emface comes with several applicators, which are used based on the results that you seek. The forehead and cheek applicators are most common for an upper face lift, but the submentum applicator targets the chin and jawline. Recovery from Emface
Perhaps one of the best parts about Emface is that it comes with little to no need for recovery. Most patients can resume their usual activities right after the session. However, we recommend you steer clear of sweat-inducing activities or extensive labor to protect the skin from irritation.
Most patients experience a mild warming sensation during the procedure, which is well tolerated and rarely needs numbing. Temporary redness and minor swelling can also occur, but they rarely last more than two to three days. Use a gentle and nourishing moisturizer to ensure the skin heals without drying. Our providers will offer guidance on the best products to use for smooth recovery.
Hydration helps support skin health and the natural healing process in the long run. You should not touch the skin in the first 24 to 48 hours, and do not apply makeup; however, please make sure to use SPF if you plan on going out. Avoid excessive heat from activities like baths and saunas to avoid further irritation.
Emface Results

Subtle results appear within a few days after the treatment, especially when it comes to skin imperfections. Still, significant changes appear after about four to six weeks, when the collagen starts growing and maturing.
