Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
The Skyline Smiles Supporting Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship is open to any undergraduate or graduate student who can meet the following criteria:
- You are enrolled in or accepted at an accredited college, university, or graduate school in the United States.
- You are in good academic standing.
- You are a U.S. citizen or otherwise authorized to work or attend school in the U.S.
- You agree to the terms and conditions.
- You submit a video on the proposed scholarship topic and include the link on the application form on this page.

How to Apply
There is no fee to apply for the Skyline Smiles Scholarship. To get started, carefully review the eligibility requirements and then create a video on the scholarship topic provided below.
Once your video is ready:
- Fill out the application form: Complete the scholarship application form on this page.
- Upload your video: Include the URL link to your unlisted YouTube video in the application form.
- Submit your application: Make sure all sections of the form are filled out and submit your application.

Supporting Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship Video Topic
Produce a brief video presenting an original business idea you would like to develop in the near future, explaining how your formal education will assist you in achieving this goal. In addition to the scholarship award, the winner will receive support from our company in launching their dream business.
Video Requirements
To be considered eligible, students must:
- Ensure proper lighting and stability: Record in well-lit areas while keeping the recording device as steady as possible.
- Introduce yourself and the scholarship: State your full name and the name of the scholarship at the beginning or end of your video, and provide the necessary credits.
- Detail sources and tools used: In the video description, list any sources of information and media editing tools utilized.
- Use content free of copyright: Verify that all content used in the video is free from copyright restrictions.
- Craft an engaging title: Develop a creative and catchy title that reflects your ideas.
While students are encouraged to use media editing tools like Adobe Creative Cloud to incorporate images, stock shots, effects, or clean cuts, these are not mandatory.
Skyline Smiles aims to award this scholarship based on the quality of the video script rather than the student’s video editing skills. Therefore, it is essential to craft the speech for your video carefully before recording it.
Students may use AI to generate B-roll footage, but the narrative must be in their voice and produced by them. Automated video generation through AI platforms and the use of actors instead of appearing personally in the video are strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification.
Video Length
The video should be approximately one to two minutes long. Once completed, upload it to an unlisted YouTube account and include the link to the video in your scholarship application form.
Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to apply is Nov. 1, 2024. Applications submitted after this date will not be considered.
Once the deadline has passed, our scholarship selection committee will review all applications. Depending on the volume of applications received, the review process may take one to three months.

Terms and Conditions
All applicants for this scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria as specified on the scholarship application page:
- Must be enrolled at a college, university, or graduate school.
- Must be at least 18 years old at the time of enrollment.
- Must have residency in the United States.
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Must provide personal information, including name, contact details, and academic information.
- Must create and submit an original video on the scholarship topic provided.
- Must propose an original business idea in the video submission.
Ineligibility Criteria
You are not eligible to apply if you meet any of the following conditions:
- Employees or children of employees of Skyline Smiles.
- Past recipients of the Skyline Smiles Supporting Young Entrepreneurs Scholarship.
- Applicants who are unable or unwilling to be interviewed by a representative of Skyline Smiles if awarded the scholarship.
- Applicants who submit the same video for multiple scholarships or multiple years in a row.

Selection and Award Notification Process
All applications must be submitted by the deadline indicated on the application page. Incomplete submissions or those received after the deadline will not be considered.
A selection committee will evaluate all applications. The committee’s decisions will be made impartially, without consideration of age, race, religion, gender, national origin, familial status, or any other protected characteristic.
Due to legal restrictions and the large number of applications we receive, we are unable to provide updates on application status or notify those who are not selected individually.
Winners of the scholarship will be notified by email, and an announcement will be made on the Skyline Smiles blog and through a press release.
The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the recipient’s college or university. Instructions for mailing the check will be provided at the time of the award. We may also contact the winner to request additional information and documentation to confirm their enrollment status and academic performance.
Privacy Statement
Your personal information will remain confidential and will not be shared, sold, or distributed to third parties.
We retain the right to use the names and photos of the scholarship winners in any announcements or communications related to the scholarship. This may include displaying them on the Skyline Smiles website, in marketing materials, or on social media platforms.
By submitting your application, you consent to the public use of your name and image as described.
